Business Planning
The class have been placed into groups for this brief.
In my group there are 5 people;
Emma Ford, Charlotte Beltham, Alex Atkinson, Jess Hill and myself.
We have decided to base our company around a wedding photography company.
The group has been allocated various tasks to each member in order to set the business up.
Alex is in charge of the business start up,
Charlotte is in charge of equipment and resources,
Emma is in charge of accounting and myself and Jess are in charge of advertising and design.
As a group we made a list of all the equipment and prices, making sure we allowed for spares.
As the wedding business is at its peak between April and September we have decided that we will have a studio location also this way we can advertise our business and have portraits to make money when the wedding season isn't busy.
Also we can offer engagement images to the couples and this is a way off possibly getting their wedding.
Me and Jess are in charge of the following -
1. A logo or chosen font for the sole trader name
2. A letter head with logo
3. A list of places your company would advertise
4. A model release form, tailored for your company's specialism
We firstly decided on the company name as
" I Do Photography"
but we next changed it to
"Treasured Memories".
I have designed a logo for the business which was later changed
I have created a model release form with our new logo -

I hereby grant the undersigned Photographers of Treasured Memories permission to photograph me. I further give my irrevocable consent to Photographer and his/her direct or
indirect licensees and assignees to publish, republish or otherwise transmit the images of myself in any medium .
I understand that the images may be altered or modified in any manner. I hereby waive
any right that I may have to inspect and approve a finished product or the copy that may be used in connection with an image that the Photographer has taken of me, or the use to which it may be applied. I further release the Photographers of Treasured Memories
and his/her direct or indirect licensees and assignees, from any claims for remuneration
Associated with any form of damage, foreseen or unforseen, associated with the use of the images.
I am of legal age and have the full legal capacity to execute this authorization without the consent or knowledge of any
other person.

I have also created sheets with our packages stated
Next I decided the prices were too low as there are 5 people in the group to split profit between and materials to come out of the price. The new sheets are in the file.
I have also done some research into starting up a business from one of the top wedding photographer professionals, Annabelle Williams. Her recommendations are in the file
